JOIN THE FAMILY!
REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 14 years of age and in 9th grade or above to join

Unfortunately, 12th graders are not allowed to join due to our extended waitlist.

Cadets are required to maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher to remain active in the program
-
Cadets are required to attend 2 meetings per month that occur on Wednesday nights

Complete the application below thoroughly and make sure to fill every box

Incorrect applications will need to be filled out again through the website

A mandatory orientation will be held for those selected for the next class and will be held a month prior to starting
RECRUIT ACADEMY
-
Cadets will attend a mandatory recruit academy that runs every Wednesday for 6 weeks straight at 5:30 - 8:30 PM
-
Failure to attend the recruit academy will bump the Cadet to the next class or lead to their termination

Cadets will learn the history of PBCFR, basic fire and EMS skills, and fire department culture and etiquette

Cadets will be physically active and be tested on their knowledge and skills throughout the academy
ONCE YOU'VE MADE IT

Once the Cadet has completed the recruit academy they will be assigned a Battalion, Company, and Captain

Cadets will be assigned their own personal set of Bunker Gear to take home to be responsible for and train with

Cadets will then be part of the Cadet Family and join in on all of our fun activities, trainings, and trips
