Senior Cadet Fire Academy, known as SCFA, is a program within our organization which aims to prepare cadets for career placement.  SCFA is exclusively for seniors in high school who already have experience within the Cadet Battalion and want to pursue a career in the fire service. These cadets are placed through a "mock fire academy" and are trained mirroring the Firefighter I/II curriculum.

Cadets who have dedicated their time and effort into this sub-program have excelled in their academics and skills in Fire Academy. Our Cadets often are competing against others with much more life experience, but with the proper tools and knowledge, they stand on an even level coming out of high school.
